In this issue, we focus on family life, in celebration of moms and dads.
You’ll be uplifted by the story of Dr. Richard L. Wetzel, a very devoted dad whose desire to provide proper moral formation for his children led to developing a superb course now available to all.
When you meet Rebecca St. James in “A powerful new voice for life,” you’ll be thoroughly encouraged by this highly successful and courageous young performer’s work on behalf of preborn babies and their moms—a result of her role in Sarah’s Choice (read the article to learn all about this!).
Speaking of moms, we’re excited to introduce Stop Planned Parenthood’s dynamic new campaign to bring Jesus, through His Blessed Mother, to every Planned Parenthood facility in America, to save preborn babies and their moms from the horror of abortion. And there is much more in our print issue that you will not want to miss.
We are excited to announce that Celebrate Life is now on Facebook!

Finally, happy Mother’s Day and happy Father’s Day to all parents everywhere, including our spiritual mothers, fathers and mentors!
—Stephanie Hopping
P.S. An update on a previous article: In “Healing after an adverse prenatal diagnosis” (January-February 2010), author Theresa Bonopartis mentioned “Frankie” (Frank Scarfone), who has Down syndrome. Theresa is the director of Lumina: Hope & Healing after Abortion, which promotes healing for those who have aborted babies diagnosed with disabilities or diseases. She recently disseminated a February 21 front-page article in the White Plains, New York Journal News about Frankie, who, at age 43, was recently inducted into the World Professional Martial Arts Association Hall of Fame as a fourth-degree black belt in tae kwon do. In her e-mail, Theresa sagely observed, “In a day when there is a search-and-destroy mission on Down syndrome children [in the womb], Frankie proves what we already know: Every life is worth living.”
